Tips For Changing the Custom Paper Size in Microsoft Word
During setting up, the printer can set custom paper sizes and types. The user then enters the paper settings onto the main page for setting up. These sections will explain how to alter the settings for specific sizes or types.
Create a custom paper width and paper type at the manufacturer’s setup page. Register a custom height with your printer driver. If the custom-designed paper height exceeds432 mm (17in) you should use the back output tray instead of the standard tray.o In the Print dialog box, choose “Fit to” and move the tray to exactly the location you would like your custom papers to be printed.
o To adjust the width of your custom paper to alter the width of your custom paper, click the tab Printing Setup. Underneath the section that says “Printer Properties,” click “IKBS.” Click “slider” in the General section. Slide the sliders to your right until you see “Invalid Setup Value?” Click “OK” If you see “Invalid Setup Value?”
o To change the custom width, go to the Printing Setup tab. Click “IKBS” In the General section you will need to click ” slider” and then move the sliders to the right until you see ” Invalid Setup Value? ” Click ” OK.” In the Print Results section you will see the new custom size and width.
o Use the arrow keys to move the sliders to the left until you see “Change Custom Paper Widths.” The number of pages you can change is set automatically by holding down the shift key and then pressing the enter key. To undo the change then press the return button. To make changes to other pages, just repeat the procedure until you are happy with the new custom page size. You can move the sliders left or right by using the arrow keys.
To alter the sheet and tray sizes, first open the Printing Setup. Under “Printers and Paper Custom Paper Sizes,” select the appropriate sizes of paper for the printer you are using. Then under “Trays and Sheets: Auto Tray Switch Function,” select the setting that displays the automatic tray switch function. When you print the next time your document the driver for your printer will automatically adjust the size of the tray and sheet to match your customized printing requirements.
o To change the custom page size, first, go to the Printing Setup and then click “page size.” Select the size you want from the drop-down menu. If you would like to stretch the page prior to printing, select “stretch” in the pull-down menu. Otherwise, the current size will be used. To change the new size, choose “set new size” in the pull-down menu.
o To print black and white documents make sure you set the custom paper dimensions to black and white in the Printing Setup. Then, select “print.” The new size will be printed on the document page. You can change the color by selecting the desired color and then selecting it from the drop-down menu.
o Set the custom size hire a private writer when the paper’s length is greater than 17 inches (430 mm). If you’re using a non-printer driver make sure to check the tray height and then select “auto tray height” in the menu that you can pull down. In this situation the printer driver will determine the appropriate height in accordance with the current display height. If this option isn’t accessible, the maximum tray height will be used.
o To increase the thickness of your paper tray, select “set depth to default”. This option is only available to the tray that is not a printer. Once you’ve selected the depth that you want, the maximum depth will be used. Always open the file menu when printing a document. Click on the “file icon” instead of the “Printing” button. Some printers let you access the menu menu for files by pressing the “print” button instead. Some printers require you click on the “print button” before you can change the custom-size. You can also open the menu for files by clicking the “print” button instead of the “Printing” button.
Once you’ve finished creating the paper size you want then press the “ok” button on the PRINTS & Folds screen. The document will be adjusted to your custom size. The entire process takes only several minutes. If there are errors the error message will pop up. You can also type in your new password. If you don’t get an error message, the custom paper size was successfully applied.
